Camp Laurel offers FREE, year-round, educational camping programs to children living with HIV/AIDS. We create wonderful camp experiences that enrich children's lives and help build their self-esteem. Camp Laurel isn't just a place to have fun, it's also a very special place that unites children who are facing similar challenges and creates a safe, loving environment that is free from judgment and full of hope. Camp Laurel is seeking an intern for our Pasadena office. This is an unpaid internship that will offer the right candidate a wonderful opportunity to gain excellent, hands-on experience in a non-profit organization. Intern will be exposed to multiple aspects of our organization, which may include: - Event planning - Recruiting - Program Development & Design - Community Outreach The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, self-motivated and a good problem solver. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must. Length or internship and hours are flexible.
