With half of all HIV infections in the USA occurring in youth under the age of 25, Camp Laurel's programs are as needed as ever. On August 7, 2010 you have the chance to make sure Camp Laurel's programs continue for years by attending our first ever "Midsummer Night's Dream" AIDS Dance Marathon. This five-hour dance party will challenge you to stay on your feet, dance the night away and celebrate the lives of children, youth and families succeeding despite the challenges of living with HIV/AIDS. Fubar, the popular West Hollywood night spot, is hosting the fun filled evening and will offer Happy Hour specials throughout the event. Celebrity DJs, actors, singers, musicians, drag queens and more will come out to help make this event one we will all remember! Expect the excitement to build with various dance contests and awards. To help keep everyone dancing, delicious food and drink will be donated by local restaurants. The event will also function as a special reunion for ALL Camp Laurel counselors and campers (over 21), from 1994 to present!

Volunteers, dancers, and corporate sponsorships will all be needed to support this five hour dancing extravaganza. So, practice your moves, get your dancing shoes on and get involved!
